This was my original piece- the fennec fox/ guinea pig combination. I chose these because I decided that the fur and the coloring of each of the animals would blend well together with a little help from the "Brightness/Contrast" adjusting tool in photoshop. I was right, it looks pretty realistic for an animal combination. Plus, it's super cute. I was also able to adjust the hue of the fennec fox's ears to get it to match the color of the guinea pig's fur. One of the main challenges was blending the fox's mouth into the guinea pig's face, but I adjusted the color enough so that it wasn't a huge problem in the end.

This is the combo piece that I used to combine my fennec fox/guinea pig, and Chase Marquardt's crow/gorilla. It's a comical piece, the fennec pig is scared because the gorilla crow is trying to eat it. The cloud background was used because I thought it might look funny given the situation. Also, because the crow can fly, it's able to get up that far into the sky. The hardest thing about this part of the project was making the gorilla crow's mouth envelop the guinea pig. As Mrs. Sudkamp said, it looks like the gorilla crow is saying "Your butt is mine!".
