For the object cinemagraph, it was really hard for me to find a moving object that worked. As it turns out, this video was supposed to be the flag moving, but at the end, it didn't end up at the same spot. That's why I used the bus that went by during the filming of this video, because it comes in and out of the shot. It was hard at first because I wasn't used to editing videos and Photoshop and I had to get used to the layers, but it worked quite well after getting used to the instructions in the video. For this one, I wanted to do something that shot out but I had no clue what I was going to do. Then I saw a water bottle in my backpack and I was like "Oh. This works." So I went outside and looked like an idiot to the other kids walking by because I was literally just squeezing water out of a bottle in the middle of the junior lot. I like the de-saturation coloring that I applied to the image. It looks cool, and you can still see the water shooting out.
My life consists entirely of minecraft and music. I incorporated both into this piece by using my previous minecraft brush presets and listening to music in my pose. It was hard to find a color scheme that I thought worked with the piece, even now I'm not entirely happy with the coloring. Although it isn't perfect, it's a lot better than what I started out with. If I were to re-do it, I'd completely base the piece around the color scheme instead of adding colors to it as I saw fit. I like how it almost looks like I'm in a dream world, or my thoughts.
